Confucius

This is a fascinating and subtle take on life in the China of the Ming Dynasty. Players seek to improve the standing of their family in the three arms of Government. However, they work within the constraints of Confucian philosophy. In particular, gifts are given and received, setting up a network of relationships that will lead one family to dominate the government. This is another clever and intriguing game from designer Alan Paull.
