This is a brilliant co-operative game, developed from the cracking Robinson Crusoe. As the name suggests, the players are astronauts who've just landed on Mars. Their job is to establish a base and keep it working.
Unlike Robinson Crusoe, where adventures fuel the team's progress, here players really don't want adventures: any disturbance could mean complete failure. This means the whole game is on a knife-edge right from the beginning.
It looks good, too, with green (good) and red (bad) translucent cubes simulating the lights on players' control panels and neat little models for the base and equipment on Mars.
For 1-4 players, aged 10+, taking 60-90 minutes to play: £65.00 (£54.17 without tax outside the EU)
