Fresh Fish (2nd ed)
The aim of the game is to sell the freshest fish on your market stalls. This means positioning them close to the delivery points. Except that the other players keep getting in the way! Inevitably you have to make compromises, but the aim is to have the shortest total of all your routes.
The original version of this game was brilliant, but something of a brain-burner. Players had to keep track of the changing spatial relationships of everybody's pieces while working out how much to bid for the best pieces in the best locations.
The new edition has been streamlined and the large, brightly-coloured playing pieces make it easier to keep track of what's going on. The amusing artwork adds to the entertainment.
The English language edition has sold out, but I have some copies of the German edition and supply English language rules – there are no language-dependent components in the game.
For 2-5 players, aged 12+, playing time 45 minutes: £28.00 (£23.33 outside the UK)
