Inca Empire

This is the high quality second edition of Tahuantinsuyu—one of the games that started off Games from Pevans! Alan Ernstein’s inspired game of expanding the empire of the Incas deserves these high production values.

This edition does away with the fiddly business of drawing on the board, but has no substantive changes to the rules. Players manage their workforce to build cities, roads and temples in what is now Peru—until the conquistadors arrive. There's an awful lot to think about – not least the events that people can put into play – making the game a real challenge. It gets 9/10 on my highly subjective scale.
