Keyflower: the Farmers
Keyflower was one of my favourite games of 2012 and this expansion adds a whole new dimension to the game: farming. The new tiles provide farm buildings
and fields and the box also contains tokens for wheat and neat wooden animals. Now the roads on the tiles also form the fences to keep the animals in, providing another tactical consideration. The new Winter tiles provide points for the different animals and wheat.
Keyflower: the Farmers can be used in its entirety with additional tiles from the base game or you can just mix all the tiles and play with a random selection that puts less emphasis on farming. Either way, it gives the game a strategic element that means players often prefer playing with the Farmers than without.
The quality of the expansion matches that of the original game and has even more of the delightful illustrations by Juliet and Jo Breese.
I have one copy left with a slight dent in one corner.
