Neuland

The second edition of Neuland is a neat update of a terrific game. Essentially, it's a development game. Players use raw materials to construct buildings to produce more sophisticated goods, building up to the production of victory points. There are two neat touches. One is that players don't own the buildings they construct – these can be used by anyone, so players have to take what opportunities they can find to produce the goods they need. The other is the clever turn track that can give players the opportunity to take two turns in a row. Excellent stuff and a real pleasure to have it back in print, especially with even better production. quality
