Olympos

This is the latest game by Philippe Keyaerts, the man behind Vinci (aka Small World) and Evo. Players expand their tribe into ancient Greece, gaining resources for the territories they hold. However, at the heart of the game are the discoveries that players buy with these resources.

Discoveries provide players with discounts or additional resources. They also give bonuses and discounts towards the cost of the Wonders that are the main source of points. Players need to find synergy in the Discoveries they collect and survive the attention of the Gods. It's a challenging game that is at the top of my list at the moment.
