The Scepter of Zavandor

The object of this game is to develop your magical power and gain the most magical artefacts. The constant choice before each player is whether to invest for further growth or go for victory points – and when to make the final push for victory.

Scepter of Zavandor is, in essence, a development of the classic Outpost, which has been out of print for many years. The new game has a fantasy/magical (rather than SF) theme. I've been playing the German edition (Das Zepter von Zavandor) and enjoying it hugely. This is one game where having it in English does make it easier to play (though the German edition is a bit cheaper).

For 2-6 players, aged 10+, playing time 1-3 hours: £30.00
