Tahuantinsuyu (Ta-want-in-sue-you) is the " Land of the Four Regions" - what we know as the Inca Empire. The game Tahuantinsuyu offers players the opportunity to be part of the expanding empire. Each player is a regional Governor, competing with the others by building roads, establishing temples and bringing other tribes under the beneficent rule of the Sapu Inca. Ahem.

The player who contributes most to the development of Tahuantinsuyu wins the game. This requires strategic planning, tactical cunning and a little luck.

Tahuantinsuyu was designed by Alan Ernstein and is published by Hangman Games in a limited, numbered edition of 1,000 games. Tahuantinsuyu won GAMES magazine's award for the Best Advanced Strategy game of 2004 and was nominated for the 2004 International Gamers Award for Strategy Games.
