ROMANOV RAILWAYS built west from BRASOV between the two western based companies. IVOR & CO extended tracks along the Danube and its tributaries. IMPALER TRAINS came out of the mountains to the Yugoslav frontier and nearly met I&C at Tirgu. HEDGEHOG took the bull by the horns and built into the centre, past IT's track, and still found some builds left over to frustrate I&C by being first into two towns along the Danube.
