The Crew

A co-operative, trick-taking card game. No, really. Each hand represents a mission in the crew's " Quest for Planet Nine" (the game's sub-title). There are fifty of these, starting off really simple but getting harder and harder as you progress. To start with you just need the right player to win a trick containing the designated card. Then it's several cards. And so on, with extra restrictions being introduced as you go.

They key thing is that players cannot tell each other what cards they have. Instead, there are specific ways players can indicate something about their hand. And, as you progress through the missions, this becomes critical. It's actually a really clever game that will tax players when they reach the more complex missions. And I like the SF theme.

For 2-5 players, aged 10+, playing time 5-20 minutes (per mission): £11.00 (£9.17 tax free outside the UK)
