Nomads of Arabia
I saw the prototype of this game a couple of years before it came out and liked it at once. The basic idea is simple enough: players catch and herd animals across the ever-changing sands of Araby. The aim is to get your animals to town and sell them for a good price.
The problem is the way the board keeps changing underneath you! Card strips represent the desert and slide across the board as players move forward. So, as well as the challenges of the game, you have to watch out you don't get left behind and fall off the end of the board! Excellent innovative stuff.
For 3-6 players, aged 10+, playing time 45-60 minutes: £15.00 (£12.50 outside the EU)
