Torch of Freedom Photos (1)

Here are some photos I took of the game in progress.

Opera audience
The audience assembles for the Opera.

The happy couple prepare
The first of many weddings!
Odd couple Cezarre Schneller (played by Malk Williams), leader of the foundry workers, and Antoinette Krell (Sue Lee), Lady-in-waiting and the Regent's daughter, prepare for their nuptials. (Author and referee Bruce Glassco lurks in the background.)

There is a panorama of the wedding congregation on a separate page.

Jacob Ludlow (Chris Carrigan, left) is best man. The bride is given away by her father, the Regent, Romulus Krell (Ryan Mint, extreme right), and supported by her brother, Cornelius Krell (David Shannon, behind and between bride and groom), and her friend, Princess Eloise (Jane Winter, between Antoinette and Romulus).

Countess Lovelle's Salon
Countess Lovelle's Salon
Countess Valeria Lovelle (Julia Boote, seated, centre) hosts her literary salon. Her son, the poet Felix Lovelle (Michael Colao, standing) prepares to read his latest work, while her daughter, Vera Lovelle (Nickey Barnard, seated, right) tries to opt out. However Antonia Ferichi (Michele Minett, seated, left), the opera diva, is most attentive.

Ambassador, you are spoiling us!
Ambassador, you are spoiling us!
The Prussian ambassador (Dave Townsend) does the Ambassadorial thing at Countess Lovelle's salon. (Yes, those blurry gold things are Ferrero Rocher chocolates!)
