Alubari
Subtitled " A Nice Cup of Tea" , this is a development of Tony's excellent Snowdonia, transposed to 19th century India – Darjeeling to be precise. The game is mostly about players establishing their own tea plantations in the Himalayan foothills, but a railway is needed to transport their crop to market. (And providing tea – chai – for your workers doesn't half pep them up.)
The railway in turn brings prosperity to the towns along its route with the creation of tea gardens a key element. I've been looking forward to this for a while (production was postponed from 2019) and, usefully for current times, it includes a solitaire game.
For 1-5 players, aged 10+, playing time 45-120 minutes: £36.00 Special offer: £30.00 (£25.00 without tax outside the UK) (or make me an offer...).
