Viticulture (Essential edition)
This is an archetypal worker placement game on the theme of wine-making, though I came to it a bit late (the original game was published in 2013). Having planted your vines, you may harvest grapes, make wine and sell wine (for victory points) each year. The problem is that you don't have enough workers to do all of this in a single year. Luckily, wine improves with age...
Then there are all the useful buildings that will improve things: if you can spare the workers to construct them. Plus, there are other ways of scoring points, so there are always decisions to be made and options to consider. Even choosing turn order is a little game in its own right.
I've always played Viticulture with the Tuscany expansion (below). This extends the game so that all four seasons of the year have spaces on the board and there are even more options. The Moor Visitors expansion provides some different 'Visitor' cards and, for a bit of bling, there are metal coins.
For 1-6 players, aged 13+, playing time 90 minutes: £45.00 (£37.50 outside the UK)

Viticulture: Tuscany (Essential edition)
Tuscany is a terrific expansion (or rather, set of expansions) that adds depth to Viticulture: I don't play the game without it – there's a recommendation for you. For a start, there's a bigger board that gives placement options for all four seasons. This also adds another action: increasing influence in the regions of Tuscany. This is scored (area majority) at the end f the game and is useful bonus points.
Then there's another deck of cards plus an expansion for each player board. These give players more structures to build, with up to two in play at any time. These give useful bonuses or special abilities, at a cost. More decisions.
For 1-6 players, aged 14+, playing time 2 hours: £25.00 (£20.83 outside the UK)

Viticulture: Moor Visitors
This is simply a deck of cards, adding 'more' (ho, ho) 'Visitors' to the game, and can be used with any version of the game. (I still recommend Essential edition + Tuscany!)
For 1-6 players, aged 13+, playing time 2 hours: £13.00 (£10.83 outside the UK)

Viticulture: Visit from the Rhine Valley
These decks of cards replace the original (and Moor) summer and winter visitors and change the focus of the game by concentrating more on the business of making wine, rather than scoring points.
For 1-6 players, aged 13+, playing time 2 hours: £15.00 (£12.50 outside the UK)

Viticulture: Metal Coins
Yes, it's simply a set of metal coinage that adds a further tactile element to your game. Makes a nice chinking sound, too.
