Funkenschlag (Power Grid): Outpost

In a homage to the veteran space exploration game, Outpost (see BoardGameGeek to find out more), Friedemann has transmuted Funkenschlag/Power Grid into the colonisation of a new planet while incorporating some of the mechanisms from the older game (which partly inspired Power Grid in the first place).

I have no idea what to make of this yet – except that I want to play it! While I wasn't a particular fan of Outpost, I'm fascinated to see how the two games fit together.

Note: this is the English/German edition published by Friedemann's imprint, 2F Spiele, and has the German title on the front of the box.

For 2-6 players, aged 12+, playing time 90-120 minutes: £47.00 (£39.17 without tax outside the UK)
