Formidable Farm/Formidabel!

A medium-sized game from Friedemann Friese for 2025. It's essentially a race to get rid of the 'trade' cards you start with (I think of them as contracts you have to meet). Each card has specific requirements (two tomatoes, say) and a reward, such as a sheep or a trading opportunity (swap a wheat for a pig). I can immediately see that you could potentially chain these, using what you get from one card to meet the requirements of another...

You also get to add a 'crop' piece (nice wooden wheat, tomatoes, cucumbers, sheep and pigs) to what you hold, which is how you make a start at completing your trade cards.

I'm looking forward to trying this one.

Note: this is a bilingual English/German edition with only the German title on the cover.
