Humboldt's Great Voyage

Many different voyages can be made in this game as the linked circles across the board represent port cities across the world. It's also a Mancala-style mechanism that limits players' movements. As they travel, players pick up goods for their ship, so they often want to collect a specific good from a particular port. Once full, their ship scores points.

It sounds simple, but you have to marry the tactical movement provided by the Mancala with your strategic goals. Besides, there are several other things to be doing to pick up useful bonuses – either during the game or points at the end. I thoroughly enjoyed it when I got the chance to play it at Spiel '19.
