A new railway game from Martin Wallace! Need I say more? Okay, we're in familiar territory here with players paying to build their railway tracks (lay hexagonal tiles) across the countryside to link cities together. Then they add 'Factories' to the cities. These come with goods (wooden cubes, of course) on them and players then ship these across the rail network to fill contracts.
The maps are screen-printed cloths, which look great and lie flat regardless of any bumps in the table (though they can ruck up). This is the 'retail edition', so the playing pieces are all nice wooden cubes and models – which I actually prefer. (Note: my stock is from the main production run. The only change from the earlier production copies is that the grey cubes are a bit lighter to avoid any confusion.)
For 1-5 players, aged 14+, playing time 45-90 minutes: £48.00 (£40.00 tax free outside the UK)
