String Railway Collection
The original String Railway had this clever idea: use lengths of coloured string to represent mountains, rivers and the players' railway lines. They connect tiles representing stations to score points. It plays quickly and is good fun.
Designer Hisashi Hayashi then developed the game by changing the scoring to be about transporting goods (wooden cubes, natch) to stations of the same colour (think Age of Steam et al). This version starts with stations and cubes already in the playing area and players have 'locomotives' they can upgrade. It's clearly more strategic than the quick, tactical play of the original.
This package brings together new versions of the two games (String Railway and String Railway: Cubed) with bright, fresh artwork and updated rules.
For 2-5 players, aged 10+, playing time 20/45 minutes: £25.00 (£20.83 tax free outside the UK)
