I enjoy dexterity games and Bamboleo is one of my favourites. And it sounds so simple: all you have to do is remove one of the wooden pieces without everything crashing to the ground.
You start with lots of different wooden shapes – from rectangular blocks through pyramids to a sphere. These go on to what is usually described as a pizza base – a thin wooden disc. This, in turn, is balanced on a narrow stand. And now you can see the problem: remove any of the blocks and the disc will sway, dip and, quite possibly, topple over.
It's simple, it's fun and it puts children and adults on an equal footing.
For 2-7 players, aged 6+, playing time 30 minutes: £50.00 (£41.67 outside the EU)
