Family Business

I'm aware that some people don't like "take that" games – where you do things to damage other players' position. Well, this card game is not for them: it's all "take that!"

Each player represents a bunch of gangsters with cards for the gang's members. Then they play cards to put a Contract on another player's gang member. Who goes onto the hit list if they can't "Take it on the lam" "Finger" someone else or otherwise escape. Sooner or later, a "Gang war" starts and those on the hit list go up against the wall... Last to have a gangster left wins.

It was first published 40 years ago and I've been playing it for most of that time. It's still great, anarchic fun. Just don't take it seriously!
