Hardback
Developing the deck-building, word game mechanisms of Paperback, this 'prequel' has the players as 19th century novelists. This gives them all sorts of different things to do, including specialising in genres (no SF, though). This being the 19th century, players need to keep up their supplies of ink. This adds an intriguing push-your-luck option.
As if this wasn't enough, there are several variants included that introduce things like player powers and advertising. All of these provide variety and fresh challenges.
I also have the original game, Paperback.
For 1-5 players, aged 10+, playing time 45-90 minutes: £32.00 (£26.67 without tax outside the UK)
